Since then, I've made 6 figures in art business and lived the creative life of my dreams!
As an creative business strategist and teaching and performing artist, I have produced a poetry book, released two soul-jazz albums, written-directed over 35 student-theater productions, and performed across the United States and Europe. In 2004, I started a business to teach STEM, language arts, history, and social justice to 100,000 Pre-K–12 students through creative writing, theatre, music, and visual arts. In 2018, I was part of the first class of NPR's How I Built This fellows.
In 2019, I launched Artist Makes Money (AMM), one-of-a-kind, online education courses with a big goal of helping 10,000 visual, performing, and literary artists make more money in their businesses.
